GINA GENNARO

Early on, Gina had always envisioned a career in art. Her first gallery opening was at age five. Yes, it was a small, intimate affair in her family’s kitchen, but she sold out every Rorschach butterfly on that refrigerator. At full price.

She used the proceeds from this first successful showing to buy Seven Steps to Heaven, by Miles Davis and a Barbie doll.

Eventually combining her two passions, art and jazz, Gina finally landed in Arizona, enjoying both.

Her art has been described as “having the ability to pop off the page; combining colors that would never meet anywhere on the Pantone® grid”. The vibrancy of colors is a testament to her Claritin® view of our inspirational desert and the effervescent notes of jazz riffs.
